Mark Meadows is the founder and CEO of Terra Nova Development, a Washington-based firm providing leadership coaching, team performance, and organization development.


He created Terra Nova with a vision to help individuals, teams, and organizations flourish. His values of belonging, connection, curiosity and generosity are ones clients frequently share and are infused into their partnership.

Prior to founding Terra Nova, Mark was the Sr. Director for Organization Development at Microsoft. Over eight years, he led a variety of development work across 40 percent of the Company. The hands-on experience he developed in a global, complex, matrixed organization helps him meet clients needs in the areas of:

  • Organization and culture change

  • Strategy, mission and vision development and alignment

  • Coaching leaders for increased self-awareness and effectiveness

  • Designing and facilitating experiences for leadership teams and diverse employee networks

Before joining the technology sector Mark was in Talent Management with Slalom Consulting and a member of the Strategy & Organization Practice at Booz Allen. He successfully led change management, performance, and mission-oriented engagements with clients such as the Federal Reserve, NASA and the FAA.

Mark’s earlier career experiences at Capital One and Korn/Ferry helped him develop expertise in executive search, completing projects in financial services, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods.

Mark earned his MS in Organization Development from American University, and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. His International Coaching Federation certification is from SeattleCoach.
